Mission Statement: To provide a vibrant gathering place for seniors that inspires and supports participation in all aspects of community life by offering opportunities for social interaction, recreation, education, and wellness.

he Mustard Seed Project promotes independent living and quality of life for seniors residing on the Key Peninsula in western Washington by providing services and programs in five focus areas: transportation, information & referral, health and wellness, senior housing options, and community education.

The Aging and Disability Resources Program offers a wide range of community-based services that allow older adults and adults with disabilities to remain at home as long as possible. These services address the needs of frail, older and functionally disabled adults living in Pierce County.

The Senior Congregate Nutrition Program provides a free meal, conversation, and even an activity or two for adults 60 years or older.

Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS)

The Family Caregiver Support program helps support and sustain the primary, unpaid caregiver providing continuous care for an older adult or a functionally disabled adult 18 years of age. We connect caregivers with the resources that will enable them to continue at-home care and make it possible for care recipients to continue to remain in their familiar environment.

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a statewide resource that assists people with disabilities to prepare for, secure, maintain, advance in, or regain employment.

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) offers assistance in all aspects related to DVR services for customers who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened.
