Virtual Courtroom

Only civil infractions and in-custody cases are conducted remotely.  All other hearings are held in person.

To appear remotely you must first obtain permission from the judge for extreme hardship reasons only.  Submit written requests to court@gigharborwa.gov at least 7 days prior to the hearing.


ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS  


To Join the Hearing by Video (Cell Phone, Laptop, Tablet, Computer)

  1. Open an internet browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
     Your device must be connected to the internet.
  2. Type zoom.us/join in address bar.  Hit Enter.
  3. Select “Join Meeting’.  Enter your name if prompted.
  4. Type in the Meeting ID: 794 653 3203
  5. Enter Meeting passcode: 8xHApY.
  6. Select ‘Join’.

If you do not want to download the Zoom App, select ‘join from your browser’ on the webpage.  Otherwise, you may select download and run Zoom.

7. Upon entry into the hearing, mute your mic until your case is called by the judge.

8. If you get disconnected, repeat these steps from the beginning.


To Join the Zoom Hearing by Phone Only

  1. Dial the phone number 1+ (253) 215-8782.
  2. Enter the Meeting ID 794 653 3203.
  3. There is no Participant ID.  Press # to skip.
  4. Enter the Meeting Passcode 421393.
  5. If you get disconnected, call back and repeat these steps.
